About the Founder — A Story Rooted in Motherhood

Shivi Maheshwari, Co-founder and CEO of TurtleBee, pursued her MBA at an Ivy League university before returning to India—where she noticed a critical gap in the baby-care market.

As a parent also , Shivi deeply understood that the first five years of a child’s life are foundational to brain development, learning, and long-term well-being. Yet in India, parents were often forced to choose between low-quality local options or overpriced imports.

Why is it so hard to find truly high-quality, development-focused products for Indian babies?

As she began her motherhood journey, Shivi became acutely aware of how critical the first five years are in shaping a child’s brain, confidence, and lifelong learning abilities. Every touch, texture, sound, and interaction mattered. Yet the market offered a frustrating choice: compromise with poor-quality local products or spend heavily on imported ones designed for families thousands of miles away.

That discomfort stayed with her.

She realised this wasn’t just her problem—it was the reality for millions of Indian parents who wanted better for their children but lacked access to thoughtfully designed options. Parents weren’t asking for luxury. They were asking for safe, intentional, development-led products that respected how babies actually grow and learn.

That moment became the seed for TurtleBee.

Shivi founded TurtleBee with a simple belief: Indian babies deserve the same standard of care, design, and developmental support as children in the US and the UK. No compromises. No shortcuts.

Today, every TurtleBee product is created with that promise at its core—rooted in child development science, made with premium, baby-safe materials, and designed with empathy for real parents and real homes. Because early childhood isn’t a phase to rush through—it’s a foundation that deserves intention, care, and love.

TurtleBee was born from a mother’s question.
And built for every parent who believes early years deserve nothing less. 💛
